Service Description
Pilates is a low-impact exercise suitable for everyone. It combines deep breathing with precise movements designed to strengthen and balance the body to improve flexibility, joint mobility, core strength, muscle tone, coordination and balance. The purpose of this workshop is to build knowledge and confidence prior to attending a class. We will run through the basic Pilates principles, along with some of the basic Pilates movements, various props and modifications to suit you. Everyone is made to feel welcome. You will receive personal tuition and guidance throughout. Thornton Methodist Church Hall Saturday 17th January, 10am-12pm What will I need? Ideally a yoga or Pilates mat (we do have spares, please get in touch) Water bottle Small towel (to support the head and lower back - optional)

Please complete and submit our physical activity readiness questionnaire prior to your first session https://www.pilateshealthhub.com/physical-activity-readiness-questio All class bookings can be managed by logging in via the website or app up to 24 hours prior to the class time. Class bookings cannot be cancelled or rescheduled if within 24 hours of the allocated class time. Please note: if your class is part of a course, for example "An introduction to Pilates" then these classes cannot be cancelled or rescheduled. Private one to one sessions can be cancelled or rearranged up to 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Please call 07793 622686 to cancel or rearrange. Last minute cancellations less than 24 hours before, are charged at £20.
